Special Notes and Terms of Agreement
- Quotes, submissions, and deliveries are processed only on our business days (Japan time). Due to time differences, requests from overseas may experience a one-business-day delay in processing.
- Depending on the format, content, completeness of the source text, or its suitability for AI translation, we may not be able to accept certain requests.
- Accepted file formats: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Text. PDFs, images, and other non-editable formats are not supported. Additionally, layout adjustments are not included in our services.
- All translations are based on a quote. If AI translation is not suitable for your content, we will inform you during the quotation process.
- Proofreading checkers are experienced bilingual translators with expertise in both the source and target languages. For Japanese-to-English translations, they may not always be native English speakers. However, for English-to-Japanese translations, they are native Japanese speakers because we work with a large pool of highly skilled Japanese translators through our translation company in Japan.
- After delivering the translated document, we offer a standard one-week review period for your verification. *
- Cancellations after order confirmation will incur a cancellation fee.
- For overseas clients, payment is required in advance.
*If needed, we can extend the review period based on document volume and prior consultation.
Minimum Charge Policy
- Minimum Charge Policy. Depending on the character/word count and other conditions, we have a two-tier minimum charge system of 5,500 Japanese Yen or 11,000 Japanese Yen (tax included). This ensures coverage of the essential costs involved in translation coordination and quality assurance.
- Oversea Client Minimum Charge Policy. In consideration of the additional procedures involved in international transactions, we kindly ask that orders from overseas clients be limited to projects valued at ¥50,000 or more.
For quotations below this amount, a minimum charge of ¥50,000 will be applied as our standard international client policy.
